My work investigates the collision between subjectivity and knowledge. I use drawing, textiles, photography, sculpture, and installation to address junctures where personal (petite) narratives of desire, anxiety, and alienation tangle with social (grand) narratives of technological advancement, social structures, and academic discourse.  Historical documents (letters, photographs, drawings, events) enter the practice as source materials and exit the practice as data.  Through various material processes and pseudo-scientific experiments, I transform and (re)create these documents/data creating works that open spaces for new experience.
